Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MyInk.ai handles information when you use the MyInk website, iOS app, or Android app (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- Account data: Your email address, name, account identifier, sign-in method, and authentication records when you create or access an account.
- Creative content: Tattoo prompts, style and placement choices, reference images, body or try-on photos, editing instructions, feedback, and generated designs.
- Purchase data: Product identifiers, receipts or purchase tokens, subscription status, credit balance, and purchase history. Stripe, Apple, or Google processes payment-card details directly; MyInk does not receive or store full card details.
- Support and deletion requests: The email address, message, and other information you provide when contacting us or asking us to delete an account.
- Service and security data: IP address, browser or app version, device and operating-system information, request timestamps, and limited diagnostic or error information used to operate and protect the Service.
- Usage and analytics data: App or website visits, screens viewed, feature interactions, session information, purchase events, an app-instance or device identifier, and approximate location derived from a masked IP address.
2. Voice Input
Voice input is optional. The mobile app asks the speech-recognition service supplied by Apple, Google, or the recognition provider configured on your device to turn speech into text. That provider may process audio on the device or on its servers under its own terms. MyInk does not upload or store the raw microphone recording on MyInk servers. The recognized text stays in the idea field until you choose to submit it; after submission, we handle it in the same way as a typed tattoo prompt.
3. Analytics
The website uses Plausible Analytics, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits and improve usability. The mobile apps use first-party event analytics and Google Analytics for Firebase. Firebase may automatically collect an app-instance identifier, app and device information, app lifecycle and interaction events, purchase or subscription events, and approximate location derived from a masked IP address. MyInk does not send the contents of prompts, photos, or raw audio to Firebase Analytics. Advertising identifiers and personalized-advertising signals are disabled in the MyInk mobile apps.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide requested generation, try-on, editing, saving, sharing, and planning features.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts, saved history, credits, purchases, subscriptions, and refunds.
- Measure feature use, diagnose failures, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve reliability and usability.
- Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests and send essential service communications.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, and dispute obligations.
5. Storage and Retention
Account records, prompts, uploaded images, and generated designs may be retained while your account is active so that saved history and related features continue to work. Images may be stored in Cloudflare R2 and delivered through a content delivery network. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. When an eligible deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify associated account and creative-content records where legally and operationally permitted. Purchase, billing, fraud-prevention, tax, legal, security, and dispute records may be retained for longer when required.
6. Service Providers and Sharing
We disclose information only as needed to operate the Service, including to:
- Email, Apple, and Google sign-in providers for authentication.
- Stripe, Apple, and Google for payment and subscription processing.
- Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers for hosting, security, storage, and content delivery.
- AI model and generation providers to fulfill a generation or editing request.
- Plausible, Google Analytics and Firebase, and Microsoft Clarity for analytics and service improvement.
- Apple, Google, or another system speech-recognition provider when you choose voice input.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or counterparties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use MyInk mobile-app data to show third-party advertisements or for cross-company advertising tracking.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted network connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your account credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. International Processing
MyInk and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can choose not to use optional photo-library, microphone, or speech-recognition features and can revoke those permissions in device settings.
Account deletion requests can be submitted inside the MyInk mobile app, through the account deletion form, or by emailing [email protected] from the email address tied to your account. We review deletion requests manually and normally complete eligible requests within 30 days. Purchase, billing, fraud-prevention, tax, legal, and dispute records may be retained when required. Apple or Google in-app subscriptions must be canceled separately in your device's store settings.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their country. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will publish the new date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
